Nine Ten, Better Sleep Again!

If you are an insomniac, you are the walking dead-get some sleep! Now, i get enough sleep, maybe more than enough. During the school year, I typically hit the sack at around 9:30 or 10:00. I mean, high school takes alot out of me! But, since it's been summer, I've been staying up pretty late. I don't go to bed until around 1:00. But, the first day of school is only about four days away-I need to restart my healthy sleeping regimen. Otherwise, my new pad may be my desk(or atleast one of them). Here are some of my tips on how to get your butt to sleep!

1) Exercise during the day-Duh! It makes you tired!

2) get rid of all light-I don't care how scared I am of the dark! If there's light, I just can't go to sleep!

3) have a clean bedroom-I can't do ANYTHING in my room if it's a mess!

4) take a warm bath or shower before bed- This might sound a little scary, but the warm water will send blood away from your brain, which will make you tired.

5) read- Believe me, if you lie back on your bed and read late at night, you won't even have to try to go to sleep.

6) wear comfy clothes- comfiness=sweet dreams

7) DON'T try to hard!!!!-do something to get your mind off of trying to go to sleep and you'll just get too tired...yawn

I Got My Schedule!

I just got my school schedule sent to me in the mail a few days ago. It's surprising, but I actually think that my senior year is going to be quite easy. See, I'm on the Core 40 diploma so I only need three years worth of math and science so yeah that's all I'm taking! So, I have absolutely no math or science this year! No crunching #'s, no annoying equations, and no fractions! Yippeee!!! I mean, i do well in math(mostly B's). I just hate actually doing it! I really think that I'm most lazy when I'm in math class. Last year, I had Algebra 2 and it took every fiber in my body sometimes to get me to even begin one of those math problems. It was such a chore! But, I ended the year with a B, so I was satisfied!
Anyway, I am going to miss science, :(. I just didn't have any room for it because i wanted to do intern. I'm going to be interning at the hospital. As long as I don't have to do a physical examination of a man's prostate, then it should be fun!
So yeah-just another year of high school drama! But, i can't wait to see my friends again! My family and I have been moving ALL summer so i haven't had a chance to see them. :( Oh well! A week to go!

Are You Just a Hookup?

I am a single eighteen year old, and many may deem that as pure suckage(meaning: just put suck and garbage together). But, honestly, the single life is pretty sweet. I don't have to worry about ...anything, considering you have to put your all into a high school relationship. For those of you who go through guys like toilet paper, don't you just hate the pressure and the obligation...don't you hate getting hurt in the end? I mean, yeah, i am boy crazy, but I'm not crazy!

But, anyway, I think I'll just stay "sober" until college and resist getting drunk from the cup of romance, if you know what I mean. Guys only want one thing from us girls anyway! Screw that! I say peace for virginity(the peace sign looks like a V!-and much kudos to Amanda!) and wait until your married people!

But, some guys are really sweet and may actually wanna wait as well...man, that was really hard to say! Cuz, you ever notice how when a girl appears easy(or is known to be) she gets all the guys? She's just a hook-up-a quick thrill. She's revealing, somewhat mean, sexually agressive, and usually drunk.

But, if you actually care about yourself, think! First of all, if you are going to have sex before marriage, make sure the guy is really who you think he is. And second of all, take the relationship seriously. Seriously, I see it all the time-i have a friend who was going out with a guy yada, yada, yada she cheated on him a couple of times. You gotta love her though- she's actually changed quite a bit and she learned her lesson. Why? Well, i think she realized that if she had taken the relationship more seriously, they probably would have lasted!

Please don't underestimate me-I've been watching from the sidelines for years and I see things(some of which I don't really wanna see) that those within the relationship may not see. If you wanna be more than just a one night stand, or a hook-up, be sweet, accepting, adorable, goal oriented, respectful, and have morals. Don't have STD's! Just a few words from a happy single chick! :) !
